Jikoni’s New Look
Recipes are more than just a set of instructions. We want to make Jikoni a space to learn, teach, and experiment with how you create recipe content.
We’ve been busy the past few months over at Jikoni HQ! Between Kiano’s Kenyan Chapati recipe class and the renovation of our new studios, we’ve been working on updating our community recipe site to make it more informative, more accessible, and more collaborative than ever before. We want Jikoni to support those with a passion for sharing their recipes, and over the next few months, we will be shifting the focus of our platform to just that.
“Recipes carry our memories, our culture, our history, our stories.”
We want Jikoni to be a space where we can celebrate and highlight the cuisines that have been under-represented in the culinary field. Through our collaborations with community members, we recognize that one of the most important things is for people to have an active hand in telling their own stories. So what’s coming up on the Jikoni calendar? We are collaborating with the best in the biz to bring you everything you need to know about recipe writing, content creation, or cooking at home.
Whether you have a recipe to share, want to take better food photos, or learn from this growing, global food community, head on over to our homepage or any of our socials to get stuck in. And don’t forget to tag us in your food content! Use the hashtag #MyJikoni to join our growing community of culinary creatives today!
